Research   

My research lies at the intersection of classical differential geometry with the modern theory of integrable systems.
Particular topics of interest include

Classical differential geometry:
- Web geometry
- Projective differential geometry
- Lie sphere geometry
- Theory of congruences
- Geometric aspects of PDEs

Integrable systems:
- Systems of hydrodynamic type
- Hyperbolic systems of conservation laws and congruences of lines in projective space
- Integrable Hamiltonians with magnetic terms: classical and quantum aspects
- Hamiltonian formalism: Poisson brackets of differential-geometric type
- Multi-dimensional dispersionless integrable systems
