<S.Cliffe-95@student.lboro.ac.uk>The 'Ergonomics & Computers' link is to an old page. This appears to be now at two different sites.
http://www.isdesignet.com/ISdesigNET/index.nclk (The online version of Interiors & Sources Magazine)
http://www.dwcdesignet.com/dwcdesignet/index.html (Draperies & Window coverings)
1) http://www.iccom.com/usrwww/gary_p/stgram.htm This site has a variety of stereogrammes on it, ideal for testing
stereopsis (or lack of it!). It's a bit of fun at the same time. Useful links to other vision and lighting sites too.
3) http://www.eyeinfo.com Both of these sites offer a myriad of info relating to eye physiology, diseases of the eye, physics of vision etc. Plenty of relevant diagrams and pictures.
4) http://www.iknow.net/library/humanvision/index.htm/ Great source of 'multimedia' based vision information. Includes 3D
animation, eye diagams, common eye problems as dealt with in the course, optics, lenses, theories of colour vision, and more.
5) http://ens-web.bu.edu/pub/lariden/www/visionary/visionary.html Site contains the 'Visionary', a dictionary of everything you every wanted
to know about vision (Ok maybe not everything!).
6) http://retina.anatomy.upenn.edu/~lance/lance_hahn.html#vision Retinal reference site, lots of retinal anatomy info, medical aspects of
vision, and great choice of links to other sites.
Phill Rawlings (Systems Engineering)
Two sites that I thought were quite interesting-
http:\\www.derm.ubc/laser/eyesafety.html has information about the effects of lasers on the visual performance.
http:\\www.prk.com/PRK_glossary.html has a complete glossary of everything you ever wanted to know about the eye and also has quite a few diagrams of the Cornea, hyperopia and myopia.
Stephen Gale (SEC)
A web site with a great discription and diagram of the anatomy of the eye can be found at : http://members.aol.com/Simhammond/Anatomy.htm
Scott Woolridge.
http://www.west.net/~eyecare/binocular_vision_report.html - information about stereoscopic imaging and depth perception, causes and correction for loss of binocular vision: amblyopia, strabismus.
HTTP://www.crl.com/~sadeff/cdt-1.html This site is of interest as it contains on-line colourblindness plates and instructions on how to carry out your own colourblindness test.
HTTP://www.eyenet.org/public/ This is an interesting site which covers a great deal of eye related topics, containing pictures and descriptions of the anatomy of the eye to on-line optical illusions.
http://www.west.net/~eyecare/glossary.html - contains useful definitions of commonly used terms.
http://www.west.net/~eyecare/myopia.html - diagrams, explanation and treatment of short-sightedness.
http://www.west.net/~eyecare/hyperopia.html - diagrams, explanation and treatment of long-sightedness.
http://www.west.net/~eyecare/astigmatism.html - explanation and treatment of astigmatism.
http://www.west.net/~eyecare/presbyopia.html - explanation, causes and treatment of presbyopia.
http://www.west.net/~eyecare/computers_and_eyestrain.html - discusses computer related eye strain; causes, symptoms, treatments and suggestions to remedy the condition.
http://www.west.net/~eyecare/visual_acuity.html~ - definition, coloured images, pupil size, other factors affecting visual acuity.
1) http://russell.mb.jhu.edu/~culurciello/thesis/FISIOLOG(en).html Site which gives loads of details about the visual system. Probably contains too much information for this module, but contains some good diagrams.
2) http://alfa.physiol.su.oz.au/paulm/demos/demos.html A page containing various links. The link to the tour of the eye is worth a look, but is slow, and requires Quicktime for Windows.
3) http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Studios/4762/ A page of illusions similar to the images shown in the first lecture.
Simon Hammond's page - worth a visit!
Explains What common words used in lectures mean.
The Eyes >Contains drawings of various eye defects / infections.
User abilities - Overview Useful Statistics about visual impairment - Part of Dundee Unis Research.
EIS Homepage Excellent page with plenty of relevant definitions and diagrams
Vision for Second Year Medical Students >Several very good diagrams and relevant definitions
Hope these are useful for you >Alan Stiles
Vision (Eyes)
Decribes the structure of the eye and common defectsSchools Vision page Basic descriptions of the eye and optical effects.
The Eye and the retina >Good diagrams of the eye and the retina
> Caramate Self Studies - The Eye page with links to several good photographs of the eye and its structure.
>Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School Teaching Pages Lots of links to relevant Vision pages.

It has some of the diagrams on your website plus a few others interesting ones. The text is somewhat patronizing, but really readable and informative. Also it is a part of a larger area on ergonomics which may also be of use for your other classes. Anyways here it is, let me know what you think. Jules
Below are a list of a few web sites that will hopefully be added to your existing list of sites. These are submitted in the hope that a few more marks will be awarded as stated in the opening lecture. Perception on line supplement A base for accessing Perception journals containing everything related to vision, quite technical and maybe a bit advanced, but worth a look!!
Spectral sensitivity. A study and description of the spectral sensitivity of the eye.
Regards, Michael Barnett Systems Engineering No. 9420988
I found these: ...on flicker fusion frequency in ophthalmic express diagnostics
monocular steropsis...multiple aperture camera
Britannia on flicker fusion frequency
