Introduction to the Image Library
In my spare time I am a freelance transport writer and photographer. This page aims to provide a brief overview of the image library which has grown from this hobby.
The website www.worldtransportpictures.com was originally developed in April 1999 as a site to sell transport photographs taken around the world. In the ten years since, WTP has regularly contributed images to several transport policy publications, including Surveyor, Parking Review, Town and Country Planning, Janes Urban Transport, Traffic Engineering and Control, and Transit, as well as LTT, as well as to local authorities, universities, consultants and private individuals.
Currently, some 8,000 images are available for sale electronically, and a further 12,000 or so can be scanned from 35mm colour negatives.
Specific enquiries regarding images should be made to Dr Enoch which should provide as much detail as possible about the desired image. Payment rates vary and are dependent on organisation, size and usage.
For a sample of some of the images available, please visit http://www.urban-eyes.com and search under photographer 'Marcus Enoch'. You may also not be surprised that all of the pictures displayed on this site are available too (unless specified otherwise).
