Heteronuclear Cu2Ni4 assembly

[Cu2Ni2(L)O(OAc][Ni2(dfmp)(OAc)(OH)3]}

The complex consists of a heterotetranuclear (Cu2Ni2) macrocyclic base with "superstructure" involving two further nickel ions and the 2,6-diformyl-4-methylphenolate (dfmp) anion. Acetate anions bridge the Ni(II) ions on the top and bottom faces.

It is probably easier to see if you check the spin molecule box.

Alternately, left-click on the picture and manipulate it yourself.

The Ni(II) ions are shown in green, Cu(II) ions in orange.
