Born in Nottingham in 1958 - yes that means it's my dreaded 40th birthday soon but don't tell anyone. Worked for short periods at:
Boots Chemical Co., British Gypsum and Premier Diamond Mine (South Africa). Worked after graduation from Birmingham University for: British Aluminium Company (now British Alcan), before returning to university, this time Exeter. After obtaining my PhD I became a Research Fellow at Birmingham and then a Lecturer at Loughborough University. I live in Shepshed close to the old Market Place. |
