Solid-Liquid Filtration and Separation Technology - the book I worked on with Dr Albert Rushton of UMIST and Tony Ward of Loughborough, was finally published in February of 1996. As we all know: behind every book there lies a story, but that will have to wait for now. Teaching children to read was a study my wife completed for her Masters degree from Loughborough University. It was based on a case study of six children, and various aspects that are more general are included in the conclusions. She is still active in this subject and more work may follow.
