nootan

Nootan is a range of electrical sockets, switches and plinths which reveal the invisible network of electricity running through the home designed by Gilles Belley in collaboration with EDF's Design Department.

Each device casts a coloured light on the wall to make the energy supply visible and demonstrate the level of consumption. The design of these devices has been paired down to create very simple, clean and discreet fixtures so that the function is at the forefront of the users mind.

For more information about Gilles Belley's other product designs, including Power-peg, Electrical Semaphore and Energy Saving Adaptor read each individual case study using the links provided or visit: http://www.gillesbelley.fr/en_gillesbelley/en_works.html
