"Over 65% of UK domestic water usage is in the bathroom. By reducing our shower usage to the recommended level, a family of four could save £180 a year in energy and water costs [according to Waterwise and Energy Saving Trust]. The Showerdrop is designed to do just that" [1].

The Eco Showerdrop is a universal shower meter which provides feedback to the user on the amount of water their shower has dispensed per shower via a simple digital display. When the recommended amount of water per shower (estimated by Waterwise and leading water companies to be approximately 35 litres) has been dispensed a simple graphic alert lets the user know.

The product is constructed of an ABS plastic, droplet shape case measuring 75mm in height, 45mm in width and 15mm in depth. It is fitted with an LCD display which shows the volume of water in numerical and graphical format. The case and buttons are waterproof and the device can be wall mounted or lanyard hung. It is powered by a lithium battery which has an estimated lifespan of 12 months.
